So funny thing happened this week.... Sister Casebolt and I were in our room writing in our journals, when all of a sudden It sounded like someone was in our house, so I jumped up super quick and locked the door to our room. Sister Casebolt didn't hear anything, and I realized I was probably just being a little baby, so we just continued to write in our journals. A little while later Sister Casebolt got up and whispered, "I hear it now!" It sounded like someone was walking around in the other room. We got so scared and went to hide in the closet while we called the zone leaders. They said to stay put and that they would be there in 5 minutes. That was when we realized that before going into our room we had locked the front door, so they wouldn't be able to get in. Sister Casebolt grabbed a ladder and I grabbed a flashlight and we sprinted toward the front door. We flung it open and Elder Dorius being a 6'10 giant was standing there ready to hit us with a FRYING PAN next to his 5'6 companion holding a fire extinguisher! While the two other Elders were hiding behind them. It was the funniest sight I've ever seen! Everything was all good but it was the weirdest night for sure, we for real thought someone was in our house, and now we get made fun of. Good good times. We also found some new people this week! All while trying to see the people we were already teaching! Everyone had siblings that are secretly interested. It's the best. Something I've learned this week is how effective prayer is when we really pray in faith and we pray frequently and daily for those things. Heavenly Father, being our "Father" wants to bless us with the things we ask for, as long as we are keeping His commandments, it is part of His will, and we ask in real faith. Palangga ta kamo! Nahidlaw ko s'inyo!!
