Maayong aga! Hopefully tonight we will know more about transfers. We are all just a little confused right now. President Robinson called last night and said Sister Stuart is training again, and that Sister Richards and I are going somewhere else but he didn't say where or anything about Visa's. So I'm just a little anxious haha. Just keep praying for my Visa to come. :) Besides all of that it really was a great week! So I'll start with an update on Lucky. We went over and watched the movie Joseph Smith, Prophet of the Restoration with her. She loved it. She still hasn't come to church....but don't worry we'll eventually get her there. She did send us a text the other day that said, "I read from the Book of Mormon! It was amazing. I didn't read far yet. I just read the introduction and the testimonial of Joseph Smith, the pages in the beginning. I love reading about Joseph Smith." For the Fourth of July everyone was out of town so we made a bunch of cupcakes to go give to those we are teaching. We also had a pretty cool experience this Sunday. A recent convert named Shelly, has been bringing her son's girlfriend to church. Her name is Anita and it was her second time coming. The first time she seemed really intimidated, and didn't seem too happy to be there. This Sunday it was crazy, because she was asking so many questions in class, and seemed really interested. It was amazing to see the change in her this second week in church. One of the sisters in the ward named Melanie Neff said that during Relief Society Anita couldn't stop smiling. It's crazy what happens when we feel the spirit and allow it into our heart's. That's what living this gospel does for us. It makes me smile and brings so much hope. She wants us to begin teaching her. I absolutely love what I read in the book Our Search For Happiness this week. It said, "It's hard to have a negative attitude about things if and when your life is focused on the Prince of Peace. There will still be problems, everyone has them. Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is a power to be reckoned with in the universe, and in individual lives. It can be a causative force in which miracles are wrought. It can also be a source of inner strength through which we find self-esteem, peace of mind, contentment, and the courage to cope." If we will center our lives around Him and learn all we can of Jesus Christ, we will have His direction in our lives, Our Heavenly Father will be able to mold us to what he wants and knows we can be become and there will never be something we can't get through. I love you all so much! Have a great week! Thanks again for all the emails:) Visa update; Emily thought and hoped her Visa would be here by transfer time. Here we are and it is still stuck at the consulate. All we can do is pray that it will come. A senior sister that works in the office in the Philippines told several of the worried moms on the mission page that of 52 American missionaries that were assigned to the Philippines NONE got their Visa's. She said that today they received word that their mission is now getting 13 American missionaries. However, none of the missionaries that have been temporarily reassigned were on the list.. Em said, "You have no Idea how badly I want to go to the Philippines right now. It just feels like a far off dream I'll never make it to. I'm just have to continue to have a good attitude and continue to enjoy each moment of where I'm at, there's not much else I can do."
