WHAT HAVE I DONE.....joke lang joke lang
The first day was crazy and a bit overwhelming, but it's all good now. We jumped right into everything. My companion and I already taught our investigator for the first time pretty much not knowing any Hiligaynon, I couldn't help but laugh because we had no clue what we were saying. With that being said the MTC really is such an amazing place. It's awesome to know we are all united in the same purpose, and with that comes a really special spirit. I'll tell you what the Lord really has a sense of humor because I've been called as the music coordinator....The funniest part about it is that the last time (and only time) I had to lead the music in sacrament meeting I promised myself I'd never do it again haha jokes on me ;) My companion's name is Sister Wilde. We've already gotten to know each other really well because it's just me and her in a huge room. The other three sister in our batch room right next door. One thing that I really loved this week was a video we watched from Elder Holland. We need to be our first conversion before we expect those we teach to be converted. "If we want our investigators to pray more, we need to pray more sincerely. If we want them to have faith in Jesus Christ, we need to more fully have complete trust in our Savior. I think that's something important for us all conversion isn't just something that we reach and then we're done. It's an on going process of having faith in Jesus Christ and his Atonement and taking action. I'm always on a spiritual high here;) I feel like I'm slowly being able to get the hang of things and I'm starting to enjoy it more! I love you all so much! Palangga ta kamo! and miss you like crazy (Like more than you will ever know) Hope you all have a great week! Halong! Love, Sister Adams -A picture of me and Sister Wilde with Elder Donahue photo bombing in the back -We went to the temple this morning at 6 apparently that's the time our batch goes every P-day:) yay to waking up even earlier then we have to.
