Show Low Week 1Well transfers happened. I am now in Show Low and my new companion is Sister Casebolt. Show Low is just 20 minutes away from my old area but it is so different. The town is a lot bigger, greener, and has a whole lot more trees. We're pretty much in the middle of a forest. Sister Casebolt is from Roy, Utah and has four siblings and actually has a twin sister serving in Washington DC. Crazy thing is that Sister Casebolt back in December was companions with another visa waiter going to my same mission in the Philippines! She keeps telling me how similar the two of us are, and how I'm destined to be companions with her. We work so well together, and I feel like we are going to get so much done this transfer. I've really been trying to work on having a sense of urgency by forgetting myself and getting straight to work. I find myself focusing, and worrying about things I can't control. (Visa) It's been weird because I had just gotten to the point where I knew most of the people in my old area and now I'm back to ground zero. This time it should be easier though, because we are only over two wards. I'm grateful for that cause four wards got overwhelming sometimes. This week I was able to meet, and get to know a lot of people and I'm so excited for this area! The people we are teaching and the members are amazing. The members are so excited for, and want to be a part of missionary work. We always have someone who wants to come out with us, and we have members at almost every set lesson we give. The biggest tender mercy happened this week... On Friday we were at recent converts 16th birthday party, and that's where I met Sister Tosie. I remember being in the MTC when Brother Taylor told us that if we see anyone that looks like they could be Filipino that we should make a B-line straight for them, so that's what I did. Come to find out she is from Bacolod. I couldn't believe it. I'm pretty sure I went into shock. Sister Tosie was so beyond excited and she spent the whole time talking to me and helping me with the language. She told me about her mom who still lives in Bacolod. She said that it is my job once I get there to go find and teach her. I'm growing faith in His timing and in His plan for me. Love you all and miss you so much! Look for missionary opportunities around you and have a fantastic week! A few last pictures in Taylor....
