HELLO Well this week was a whole lot of CHANGE. New companion, area, and people. This area is so DAKO (huge). Coming from two areas where we could walk the whole thing in a day, pero now it would be impossible. Sister Castillo is Tagalog gid and trying to learn Ilonggo. So lets just say I'm trying to learn a little bit of Tagalog so we can communicate better lol. Our week was a lot of finding new people. My favorite person we found was a 22 year old guy named Bevvs. Sister Castillo was thirsty, so we stopped at a tyunggi so she could buy a coke. That's where we met Bevvs, we sat down and he brought the coke, but instead of leaving he sat down with us and started asking us questions. We shared who we are, what we were doing there, and a short message about Jesus Christ. Instead of us asking, he asked when we could come back and if he could invite a friend...As in so golden. As in dasig gid ining week so indi ko madumdumon ano natabo pasensya gid ahahah As for my thought of the week, I love 3 Nephi, because we hear directly from Jesus Christ. In 3 Nephi 11 verse 11, Jesus Christ appears to the Nephite's and introduces himself. "And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me....I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning. "When Jeffery R. Holland came to the Philippines he spoke and said of all the ways the Son of God could have introduced himself, in other words He introduced himself as the son who obeyed. He did what he had to do whether he wanted to or not, and suffered the will of the Father. What a great lesson for all of us. We need to do what we're supposed to do regardless of whether or not we want to, no matter how hard. I want to be known as the daughter who obeyed and "suffered the will of the Father in all things" Find the will of the Father for you and most importantly do it. This is His mission. Love you all! Em didn't really have time to explain the pictures this week. We got to talk to her for a little bit. She was at an internet cafe where there are no cameras, so we couldn't see her. As always it was great to hear her voice. Zach gave her some good advice, and some comic relief. It was great to hear her laugh! 😄
