Hey This week we spent a lot of time talking to and finding new people to teach. As we were walking around nowhere in particular we stopped to help a kid draw water from a well and another young man came out to talk to us probably out of curiosity. We asked if we could share a message and if he knew of anyone else that would want to listen. I started laughing so hard as he turned and started yelling for all his neighbors to come out and listen. After which we had a pretty big group of people together to listen to our message. Later in the week we returned to the sweet Dopio Family and watched the 30 min Restoration movie. When we started the rain was pounding down on the tin roof so hard that I couldn't even hear my own voice as we sang I need thee every hour in Hiligaynon. To add to that their kids especially their baby didn't want to stay quiet or sit still. I just kept praying in my heart that they would be able to watch and feel the spirit testifying of the truth. The movie ended and we all just sat for a good few seconds in silence. Dugay-dugay Mario got up turned off the TV and with out us saying anything he said, "Matuod gid ina" or that's true. The spirit was so strong as we and the member with us testified of Joseph Smith and the First Vision. To make it better they even came to church this Sunday! Everytime we would glance over at church, he always had the biggest smile on his face. He told us how excited he is to come to church again next week. We're also so excited for the Morales family. This week was Brother Joemarie's, Terrence's, and Gyles's baptismal interviews. Brother Joemarie was so nervous and excited that he couldn't sleep the night before. It has been a long awaited day. A whole 6 months to be exact. As missionaries came and went his testimony only grew stronger and I have loved to see the changes in his character as a husband and father. We're super excited for this Saturday!
Time won't slow down. Palangga ko kamo. Halong
